The hotel staff were absolutely amazing - especially a girl called Vivienne on reception - very helpful and accommodating!
Hotel very central & my room was lovely & warm on a very cold winter's night.
Friendly welcome and helpful staff, good location for city centre, main station and, by train, to Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre
The situation near everything in the city, near to the railway station, friendliness of the staff, design very interesting, bright colours.
The Help of the Hotel staff on our early arrival.
Hotel staff working in the cafe serving breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful.
With an extra companion, we changed the standard room into three beds. Hotel room is comparatively smaller though enough to accommodate three of us.
Conveniently located, staff friendly in the hotel and in the adjoining bar, value continental brekky!
Location was good rooms were a bit on the small side staff nice and friendly check in and check out were quick and easy
The breakfast was very basic and not a lot of choice
BMCH is showing its age and is in need of some refurnishment and maintenence Personally I found the dominating blue and red of the public corridors rather offputting and they were showing their age. nb The minimalist glass shelves that stand in for bedside tables represent a potentially serious hazard for anyone stumbling against them Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and the metal tables were a bit clinical.
A great hotel in a brilliant location. Room was fine & the cafe bar was fab. Breakfast was cold meat, cheese, tomato, cucumber, rolls, croissants, yoghurt plus juice tea & coffee & it was excellent. The biggest asset tho is the staff who were all amazing.
There are couples of things i didnt like..... 1) I didnt like the wall color-strong red n blue. Make the common area looks dark. 2) Awaken by bed bugs. 3) No proper luggage storage after we check out in the morning. Our luggages were locked in a toilet for the disabled. 4) A lot of brochures and tour packages displayed in the front area, but they do not help to make booking.
Room impossibly hot, little window opening. Exposed wires of light fixture above sink. No maid service. Room was neither clean or serviced.
friendly staff excellent value and located just where we need to be
Absolutely fantastic service. All staff very welcoming and accomodating. Location is fantastic, bar and restaurant (for breakfast anyway) was lovely. Some minor improvements to rooms could be done. Would definitely stay there again.
Good facilities in Room; good lift. Very friendly reception staff
I thought the breakfast was not good & had been better on previous visits. This time there was no youghurt or fruit on offer. Also toast was not offered I also thought the coffee & pastries were poor quality. However the fruit juice was again of a very high quality.
